ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੋਈ |ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਛੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣਾਇਆ |ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਖ਼ਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਝ ਵੀ ਰਚਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ|ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੰਡਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ | ਤਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ !”ਅਤੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ |ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਚਾਨਣ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ “ਦਿਨ” ਕਿਹਾ |ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਨੂੰ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ “ਰਾਤ” ਕਿਹਾ |ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਚਿਆ |
